Conchal Real Estate offers you more special information at the Travel site. |
Most people visit Costa Rica during the December to May dry season, but the country is worth the trip any time of the year. And during the rainiest months on the Pacific side -September and October- it tends to be fairly sunny every day. If you plan to visit our beaches in the high season (December through March), an early confirmed reservation is necessary. |

Playa Grande, Playa Ventana and Playa Carbon featuring miles of pristine sandy beaches. Small family operated hotels and privately owned homes are surrounded by pure nature. Embedded is the national park "Marina las Baulas" where the giant leatherback sea turtles lay their eggs, -between November and March-, on the beach. To the south from Playa Grande, by crossing the estuary in a boat, you are in a few minutes at Playa Tamarindo. |
There is so much more to tell about our beautiful Costa Rica. The culture and history and especially the people. The "Ticos" as Costa Ricans are called, are famous for being friendly, helpful, talkative, self-assured and gregarious; they love their music, football (soccer), Imperial Beer and especially, their country. They are predominantly of European heritage, mostly Spanish, but a fair number of them show varying amounts of indigenous characteristics. There is also a Chinese minority, spread fairly evenly around the country. And there is also a fairly large international community made up almost entirely of European and North American expatriotes. |
Finally a few last words. |
"As a former world traveller and one of the last big spenders, -at the end of a long run-, I found my little paradise. Living in peace on a small farm with my lovely Costa Rican wife and a great labrador dog. Enjoying my real friends, the beautiful country, my small business and a few cold drinks. What can a man more ask for?" |
